Delores “Lori” Hamilton Byrd has litigated cases on behalf of plaintiffs and employees in Florida and Georgia prior to coming to California. Lori has a huge heart to help others, so the practice of employment law provides a natural opportunity to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Her compassion and skillful demeanor are evident when clients first meet her as she immediately puts them at ease during this difficult time in their lives.
Lori graduated from Florida State University, cum laude, and obtained her degree in Political Science. While earning her degree, she worke for Forida TaxWatch, Inc. a nonprofit research institute. The summer before entering law school, Lori internred for Senator Bob Graham. After graduating from Florida State University College of law, Lori worked as the Assistant City Attorney for the City of Key West, and as City Attorney for Eveglades City, FL. Lori is licensed in Florida, Georgia, California and is admitted to the US District Court for the Norther District of Georgia, the Southern District of Florida, and the Central District of California.
Giving back is her nature. Lori is active in the community and donates her time to help in a range of areas concerning children, counsel for the poor, and other community outreach. She enjoys walks in nature and time with her wonderful husband and rescue animals.
